I always criticized Gears games for being way too Grey, now its just gone over board lol, but still fun, even though the story isnt that compelling to me

i seen the latest screenshots of gears and i gotta say, the graphics are pretty much the same for the chacters and there isnt really much difference none the less they look very good though, in a non gay way. the detail to the enivorments has improved insanely and it looks gorgeous. but all is not perfect there were quite a few bland textures in the enviroment and some objects in the enviroment looked like resistance 2 graphics and there was also some screen tearing on the surface and the characters.
What are your first impressions?

Well im dissapointed. I had my hopes up for Gears 3 to be the best 360 graphical game along with gameplay, and it doesn't look much different to Gears 2. Hopefully they will at least make the multiplayer good and not fuck it up like the failure Gears 2 was.

Well the graphics aren't really upgraded since Gears 2 used alot of 360's power.

Still gonna get it since it's the only 360 game i'm interested in.

Looks cool so far, a few improvements, but i hope they will improve more before we see the next footage. The weapons and the ground should look better for example.

I doubt that'll happen. Sure, it may be the best-looking game on the 360 (which right now is Alan Wake), but I doubt it will hold a candle to games like Killzone 2 and Gran Turismo 5. Still, graphics should take a back seat to gameplay, and goddamn does Gears of War have great gameplay.
