- Now, can someone list ALL the cons of the PS3?
I'm not a fanboy, but iDon't know everything .

Also, don't mark down installs, cause games like Fable II and Monster Hunter Tri could really use them .

Lower framerates on some bad ports ( bayonetta etc )

Lack of cross game chat

Controller triggers are gay without the trigger adaptors ( in my opinion )

Lack of a bundled headset

No in-game music on most games

Maybe for other people, but everyone here has access to: ChatBox,Ventrilo,Tinychat, or Skype .

Yeah, the headsets should be bundled, or a bluetooth bundled/eyetoy with it .

The only games music can't be played on is Adventure games and Shooters for the most part .
Which makes up most of it, so yeah .

I think most of your list is for the best, or wouldn't make a difference. But that's just my opinion.

For me, the only downside is that Sexy Slim is a cripple

XBOT: The PS3's biggest downside is it's ability to read Blu-Ray, which I hate.

Yes but we need our laptops on to go on tinychat etc and play our games at the same time, it would be so much easier to be able to do both on our PS3's at the same time.

Hence for the trigger part i put "in my opinion"

you can get a number of movies online FREE .

Yeah those 25 character descriptions are better than a paragraph description. And that little picture is a lot better than having a picture AND a character represting you. And no, trophies don't build rep, I could get 2% on every trophy enabled PS game and be a level 15.

Plus, when someone changes their name on XBL a notice is given to ppl on that person's Friends list. Thanks for trying PS3 fantard.

1) System/game updates take forever and freeze up multiple times.

2) Not bundled with a game and headset

3) Controller doesn't charge when the system is turned off like it does on the 360.

4) Only a 1 year warranty when the older systems have a tendency to stop reading discs.

5) And of course... not backward compatible.

That sounds so cool! I am so interested in my friends I wanna read paragraph long essays about them, when, from a gamer and average person perspective, I know all I need to know about them before I add them.

Yeah, those ugly guys that don't do jack squat are so superior in contrast to their PlayStation Homies.

You're right about the rep thing though. I mean, it not like you can just go see how many trophies of each level he has on pg 2. That would let you know if they actually played their games, rather than just getting 2 bronzes in each one.

I really want to change my name, btw. All those people who aren't on my friends list will just think I'm dust in the wind.

I agree with you about the R2/L2 triggers. Those clip on dual triggers are the best $5 investment you can make on your PS3.

At least XBL gives you enogh space on what you want to use to describe yourself, instead of giving you barely enough space to type something like "I'm a gamer."

Also avatars interact with the Dashboard and other avatars on your friends list, unlike that barren, sit-in-one-place, Playstation Home which still hasn't even exitted the public beta stage for over one full year.

Also, Rep is what determines the conduct of a player, and if you don't want to use rep to see how good they are(for what ever reason), you can instantly see their GS without having to wait for the XMB to load, go to players me, scroll through a long list, click on their name, and then wait for the profile to load. then after that you can check their games and see how many points they have gotten in a game instead of seeing 4 different types of trophies.

Also, outside of your PSN friends list no one gives a **** about who you are. Smile
