Notice how hundreds of games are missing from that list?

It proves plenty. It proves that PC rapes the asses of all the consoles. That's 189 games, plus its missing tons more. XD The list I made for my video, was around 80 exclusive titles, just within the last TWO YEARS. Consoles can't compare. XDTRF wrote:Most of these games are old. This proves nothing.

Re: Yup, PC gaming is obviously dying
I don't think that PC sucks or anything like that, but this list means nothing.
a good part of those, if they were on the 360/PS3 they would been xbl/psn games (machinarium, Eets, crazy machines, worms...), and some of them, well I don't think anyone care obout them(the experiment? Black Shark? BattleForge? Sky Defender?... ), and half of that list are strategique and RTS games, so if you don't like that, your screwed.
I think if some people see that PC is dying is because big exclusives don't comes out frequently, this year for example all I can think of is Starcraft 2.
and about PC dying or not, IMO PC will die when people stop gaming on it, and well, it doesn't seem to be happening soon.

You obviously don't follow the gaming industry if all you can think of is Starcraft II.

i'm not saying all what PC have this year is starcraft.
Mount & Blade, Drakensang, Machinarium & runaway, Napoléon Total War... all this are great games this year (and this are just the ones that I played), but I can't consider them "system seller" or games that make you want a PC.
Starcraft is the only game that imo makes you wish you had a PC this year.
again that my opinion.

Erm, none of those were released in 2010 other than Napoleon: Total War.adro wrote:SlySonji™ wrote:

Re: Yup, PC gaming is obviously dying
PC had Starcraft II, Sid Meier's Civilization V, Amnesia: Dark Decent, Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale, Lost Horizon, Napoleon: Total War, Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943, Drawn: Dark Flight, ArmA II, and Dark Fall 3, all this year. More than that actually, that's just what I could remember off the top of my head. There are plenty of games that aren't RTS', you just have to take a second or two to see what's out there. Not every PC game gets pushed to the front, since so many release at a time. They have plenty of great horror/puzzle/survival games. I'm playing through Penumbra 1 & 2, and will then pick up Amnesia: Dark Decent. Your PC experience is what you make it.

PC gaming is for "hardcore" gamers. Regular to casual gamers don't really care for it. And I for one couldn't care for it.

Re: Yup, PC gaming is obviously dying
Even considering the European release dates, Napoleon is still the only game on your list that released in 2010.adro wrote:TRF wrote:

So I'm a hardcore gamer because I play games on PC? What aspect of the PC makes someone more of a gamer than someone on consoles?Stoney wrote:PC gaming is for "hardcore" gamers. Regular to casual gamers don't really care for it. And I for one couldn't care for it.
