KEY:
Halo Reach - Cod4 and up .

New Game Modes - New Game Modes
JetPacks - New Killstreaks
Better Graphics - SLIGHTLY better graphics
new colors - new colors
new weapons - new weapons
new story - new story
Different Game Mechanics - Heartbeat Sensors, Thermal Scopes, Cold-Blooded .

See much of a difference?

Don't compare Halo to Cal of Duty. It's not nearly as repackaged. Halo: Reach offers new weapons, armor, game types, game modes, and Bungie also added weapon loadouts and armor abilities.

Also, heartbeat sensors and thermal scopes do not count as different game mechanics. They're basically just new scopes, nothing game-changing.

- ok, they change the game up and the tactics you have to have to get around them, but fair enough .

Halo 2 wasn't repackaged like 1?

ok . also, armor?
new characters on MW2 .
you can't really get around this one TRF . Wink

The armor is much more customizable. Halo 2 was NOT repackaged. First of all, it went from open-world to linear, and multiplayer was added. And what do you mean by new characters in MW2? There were new story characters, but that's not the equivalent of more customization in Reach.

So what? You're changing the argument. Reach doesn't revolutionize FPS, but we're debating over whether Halo is recycled, not about whether Reach revolutionizes FPS. Killzone doesn't revolutionize FPS. Uncharted doesn't revolutionize TPS. God of War doesn't revolutionize hack n' slash.

- Uncharted 2 PERFECTED TPS .
Same as God Of War III perfected Hack N' Slash .

But, my bad .

Reach is nothing new . that's all i'm saying .

It's new for the Halo franchise, which is the idea that you originally disagreed with. Uncharted 2 was far from original, BTW. It did nothing new in terms of story, nothing new in terms of platforming, and nothing new in terms of TPS. It had some awesome set pieces, but that's about it.

Let's not change the subject, though. Halo: Reach is not repackaged, I've already provided the reasons why.

You're blind then, bro. Sorry, that's really my only argument. I can't argue in favor of something that's so blatantly there.

- Comparing Killzone 2 to Mag is not right .

It's like comparing gay to bisexuals, sure, both of them are generically the same, but, one is better. Wink

I've seen it. Sure, the graphics aren't hugely updated, but they don't look terrible and I know for a fact that the game will be different.

Perhaps, but it was the first game to get all those factors right in the same game.
