Yup you guessed it, the beta is exclusive to the 360, and i don't have XBL Gold yet(XBL will become available in my location on 10th November), if they send me codes i will give them away here.
As part of our continuing Crysis 2 development we will be performing a multiplayer test starting very soon. For this test we will be inviting various community members to take part and help us push the game to its limits so we can make any adjustments necessary and ensure that we deliver the gameplay experience we know everyone wants to see.

EA are just the publishers. I'm guessing MS payed them for it. Just like Sony is paying EA for the exclusive content they are getting for the PS3 versions of Dead Space 2 and MOH.

You need to have an Xbox Live account, thats all, they will probably send the invites randomly.
