"Halo: Reach" Sales Disappoint In Japan

Halo Reach has expectedly disappointed during its first week on sale in Japan, where it's managed just 44,413 copies sold. They don't like first-person shooters, you know.

The lacklustre numbers are still enough to place the Microsoft shooter in fourth place in this week's Media Create charts - and that's because everyone's spent their money on Pokémon Black & White, which absolutely dominates the charts after flogging 2.5 million units in A WEEK.


Elsewhere the PS3 version of Square Enix's Front Mission Evolved has turned up at second and Wii Party's sitting pretty at the number five place.

Halo's Japan numbers are of course in contrast to the UK's 300,000 copies sold in ONE DAY.
