No Exclusives: For the duration of this console generation the Xbox has had many good exclusives. Not anymore, at E3 Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3 and Fable 3 were shown off which are all due for release soon with Gears being released the latest in April 2011. Crytek announced a new exclusive “Codename: Kingdoms” which had no gameplay present at the show. As far as I see Microsoft has no compelling exclusives coming out in 2011 aside from Gears 3, when compared to Sony who announced a solid lineup of new exclusives such as Killzone 3 and solid Move titles and Nintendo who announced new games such as Epic Mickey, Kirby’s Epic Yarn and a new Donkey Kong game, Microsoft left us flat. That is on top of the recent announcement that Mass Effect 2 is coming to PS3 next year.
360 has no games for 2011 lol ROFL

Not being a fanboy or anything, but Microsoft are going to screw up next-gen.

If they release the next Xbox console before the PS4, that doesn't grantee they'll be ahead in sales.

Sony has learn from their mistakes this gen, but Microsoft are probably going to get cocky and make mistakes aswell.

Gears is coming 2011 but Codename: Kingdoms is still in development for a 2012 or late 2011 release

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a 2011 release, but I'm not making any predicitions.

I'm sure they will surprise us, but not with much. What are the honestly going to offer us, and from who? Let's look at all of their third-party developers. Valve is on PS3 now. BioWare is on PS3 now. Ubisoft is on PS3 now. We could get a surprise, but it still won't stand a chance against PS3's lineup.

As far as current 360 owners they will have plenty to play. Lots of multiplats are being released so as far a gaming goes, 360 owners won't be disappointed.

IMO the war is over and it ended a tie between PS3 and 360. The difference are way to minute. I argue that PS3 as a 3rd place system has done better than the 2nd place Xbox, N64 and even the genesis in terms of getting support and sales.

MS simply was not able to bury the playstation brand. No where near. Around this time last gen PS2 had like 90 million sales to XBox's 20 million. That was a slaughter. But what we have now is irrelevant. A 4 million lead is not enough to convince the industry to ignore the PS3. Hell to be honest even if MS paid to get some type of exclusivity I guarantee the asking price is that much higher.

As for Wii, they won over a completely different crowd which netted them huge success. Yeah they pretty much ignored the core gamer but the core gamer has 360 or PS3 or PC to choose.

There is something for everybody to enjoy.
