microsft always rips you off with propriatary HDDs. i think a 120 GB HDD cost $150 a year ago. the fanboys may argue with the Xbox 360 slim saying "its got a bigger HDD then PS3 for the same price" but in the long run, the PS3 HDD can be swaped with any computer HDD, while your stuck with Microsft't overpriced HDD with a shell..
