Dark Souls

Its been announced some time ago as "Project Dark" .
Now its renamed to Dark Souls.
The best thing : Its the spiritual succesor to Demon's Souls ... only harder.

New Re-Announcement Trailer :

It will feature a more open world, refined gameplay , a similiar innovativ online system ,brilliant atmosphere, a harder difficulty and the best gameplay ever. At least if it succeds to be a worthy sequel to Demons Souls .

If you haven't played Demon's Souls yet, you probably won't understand, why its such an amazing game. You have to bite yourself through this game atleast once before you can grasp how amazed I am about Dark Souls.

Dark Souls totaly entered my top 3 most wanted ,sitting right next to Gw2 and Uc3.

FUCK THAT!! I haven't even beat the first level in "Demon's Souls" -_-

Demon's Souls is a LOT of trial and error. i died about 6 times on the first level but you do get used to it. It is a lot of fun though!

The only reason why I can't beat the first level is because my sword is broken. And I can't fix it without killing some enemies. But how can I kill enemies if my sword is broken? -_-

But yeah, the game is still fun though.

Can you not just parry? Dont you have a secondary weapon. You usually have one it you press the right button on the D-Pad

Yeah there are other ways of killing your enemies, but it's way harder without your main weapon. Like for example I have to go up the stairs while their's enemies on it, and my strongest weapon that I have is a knife. And a knife doesn't do much when your on the stairs fighting like 6 or 7 enemies at the same time.

I'm sure I can beat it, but every time I make really far into the game I die and I have to start ALL over again. It drives me a bit nuts.

I made the same mistake at first, i started off as a warrior/soldier but i restarted and picked a Hunter instead who uses an Axe and a Bow. it is much easier now.

Yeah I picked warrior too. Might have to start a new file with Hunter aswell.

Yeah, did you get a stratagy guide with your copy of the game? I got the Black Phantom edition that was available here in England. I could tell you what the easiest beginers classes are if you want?

Nah. I don't use stratagy guides. Even though it would help.

Niether do i really, but it came bundled with the game. I only used it to get a better description of the classes anyways.
