Looks a lot better. It's a lot crisper and the colors are a lot more saturated.

Dude, a year ago I saw this display of some movie based on Romeo and Juliet (the movie was fairly old) and it looked HD. My mind was blown at the time.

You doubtin' mah BluRayz . . . why does it matter? Isn't it obvious that it would look better on Blu-Ray? These kinds of remastered editions are made all of the time.TheJubJub5721 wrote:Also, when were the DVD ones taken and the Blu Ray ones taken?
Re: "Aliens" DVD & Blu-ray Comparison
Why would you even question whether it looks better on Blu-ray or not? lol

Most movies I have seen on Blu Ray weren't that big of an improvement over DVD.

Smiley. There ya go. Oh wait, thats a facepalm... because the movies I have seen on a 1080p TV with Blu ray and dvds didnt have that much of a difference. Like the Dark Night, saw both versions on the same TV and they didnt have a big difference.

Have you compared a movie like ''Back to the Future'' with a regular DVD player and a Blu Ray player?

No because I have Back to the Future on VHS lolololol but if you burn an HD movie to a DVD and a Blu Ray now a days its not that much of a difference.

Re: "Aliens" DVD & Blu-ray Comparison
So Dark Knight on Blu-Ray/Dvd is no difference?
I actually had that experience one night I watched it on Blu-Ray. Brighter Colors, better all-around.
