IGNorant Thread Explanation

Okay, i'm going to try and explain why the video i posted up earlier about IGN was flawed. Because most of you guys didn't get it

As you know, the only games that were mentioned in the video were Batman: Arkham Asylum, InFAMOUS, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, ModNation Racers, and God of War III. But wait a minute!? How can they include "ModNation Racers" instead of "LittleBigPlanet"? And why isn't "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" the highest rated PS3 game IGN has given, not on the list?

Now you maybe thinking this is a video about the best most recent PS3 games out there, but no, it's not. If it were then "Heavy Rain" would be included on the list instead of "inFAMOUS" which was a last year's title.

After i watched the video i didn't see the point of it at all? But you know how IGN is.

Anyways i'm pretty sure there are other minor flaws with the video, but you can figure that one out yourself.

They should have put MGS4 up there. Considering they gave it a perfect score, there's no excuse. However i don't think there completely ignorant.

Well, i think that they only had 5 games to choose from and they choose the above 5.
They might liked ModNation Racers more than LBP.
As for MGS4's absence from the list well... even I don't know what to say about that.

Now for games they didn't choose:

Killzone 2 - 9.4
Resistance 2 - 9.5

Yes, they had higher-rated games, but maybe if they were to review MGS4 now, it would receive a lower score. While I do find it somewhat funny that the game wasn't on their list, maybe they did want to choose more recent games, although I'd definitely put Heavy Rain on that list and take out Batman since it's not exclusive.

Well, it is a Kart racer.
It's going to have the same base racing like Mario Kart. Just like shooters, fighters, etc.

That's what it seems like. I'm sure this isn't their first "Must-Play PS3 Games" list, and they'd all be awfully boring if they all included the same games.
