That might be a temporary listing. They had ModNation Racers listed as a June 1 release for the longest time.

If you see a 1, 30, or 31. it almost always means its temporary, other numbers are usually official. For example I doubt Aliens: Colonial Marines with release 11/1/11, like it said at my local gamestop today.

Yea, but Call of Duty is an annual franchise. The game is built around the release date, when it should be vice-versa.

Yeah, but there are also years where 2 games are released such as COD2 and COD:Big Red One. Or COD3 and COD: Roads to Victory. anyway, we should get a full release date from Sony at E3. Either way, at least we know tha main timeframe.

That has nothing to do with the Black Ops release date, although it's worth mentioning that Call of Duty 2 was made by IW while BRO was made by Treyarch. Call of Duty 3 was made by Treyarch while Roads to Victory was made by Amaze Entertainment.

I'll reserve my copy next month.
