Favorite RPG You Played So Far

"Valkyria Chronicles" is probably my favorite so far. I even find it more enjoyable then "Final Fantasy XIII". I will be getting "Demon Soul's" soon. I got a feeling "Demon Soul's 2" will be huge. I'm also getting "White Knight Chronicles​" once the price goes way down to $20.

"3D Dot Game Heroes" is Action-adventure game with RPG elements in it. But yeah feel free to write any of your favorite RPG title on the PS3. It doesn't have to be the ones i mentioned.

Right now, Demon's Souls followed by Valkyria Chronicles but WKC is 37 bucks on Amazon and I heard it was pretty good from everyone but the reivewers,lol. So I'll prolly pick that up soon

If we're talking about RPGs in general, my favorite is Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance. If we're just talking about RPGs this generation, then my favorite is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

That's the opening to the anime, not the game. Anyways, I liked Valkyria Chronicles. It wasn't my favorite, but it was enjoyable. White Knight Chronicles is pretty underrated. It's not amazing, but far from a 65 on Metacritic.

Final Fantasy XIII

Borderlands is my fav on consoles but that's cuz i havnt played a lot of RPG games
Pokemon is my favorite on portables

Past generations: Suikoden series, Final Fantasy VI, VII, Shining Force series, Phantasy Star series, Eternal Arcadia, Kingdom Hearts series, Xenogears, The Legend of Dragoon, Grandia, Lunar series

I'm probably forgetting a lot here, but that is a basic list.

What about Oblivion

Knights of the Old Republic is by far my favorite RPG. But I played a little bit of Mass Effect and it was great, so it is a tie between the two.

Tales of Vesperia

I have only two RPGs. I also have Lost Odyssey.

PS3 (what I've played so far): Valkyria Chronicles
All time: ...Ooooh. So many choices. I'll list some favourites:

- Final Fantasy Tactics (both FFT 1.3030 and WotL)
- Final Fantasy 10 (incredible story and characters)
- Final Fantasy 7 (inb4hate, haven't played 8 or 9 yet)
- Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 (I prefer the Persona games over the dungeon crawlers like DDS).
- Rogue Galaxy
- Dragon Quest 8

Oblivion and Fallout 3. I'm haven't been a fan of JRPG's since FFX. Oh yeah, FFX is another favourite.

For This Generation: Fallout 3

Past Generations: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, Legend of Dragoon, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Star Ocean 3: Till The End of Time, Chrono Trigger and many more that i can't think of off the top of my head.

No Tales anyone? D:(Execpt NoelX2)

I guess It'll be FFXIII since that the most recent RPG I played.

FFXIII doesn't have the best story/characters of the series. But it certainly has the best combat system of the bunch.

Mass Effect 2 and Oblivion, overall (all gens) RPG would have to be Final Fantasy VIII.

Anything with Elder Scrolls, Fallout, or Shin Megami Tensei in the title are all amazing.

I can't pick a specific favorite.
