Well, he's right, he just doesn't realize that PS3 has a lot of the media features that the Xbox 360 has.

Or maybe he wasn't making any 360 vs PS3 reference and was just talking about the 360's media features in general =/.

If a Sony rep comes out and says "PS3 has a great online service", we don't assume that he is saying it's better than XBL. The same should apply here.

First paragraph of the article. It's the equivalent of a Sony rep saying, "PS3 has a great online service - and that's what helps it stand out amongst the competition."

Didn't a Sony rep say this years ago?

It's just like advertising. Trying to make it appeal to the non-gamer I guess.

Sort of like "it only does everything", where it makes games seem like a minor focus.
