UGC how the hell

Ugc just how the hell do you get noticed sometimes you see stuff out there in the share space of a game in the top downloads part of the game and your like how in the name of satans ball sack did that shit make it here it's just something thats bugged me for a whlie about UGC games I love the making and finding of cool stuff but when you spend time making somthing cool that you hope looks good how do you get it seen in a sea of crap.
as a side note how do you put game play videos on you tube ( I know how to use you tube) I see vids up and there from users that somehow are abel to upload gameplay strat from there PS3 how do I do that?
