sooooooooooooo!
Has anybody had a go at the xbox motion controler yet I've been in have few stores trying to find one for a free demo but all the stores I have been into it's not working ... this looks bad for ms.
Re: sooooooooooooo!
I played it at Best Buy and it had a lot of trouble reading my movements. Just trying to navigate the menus was almost impossible.

Don't eve judge its quality on store test, seriously, the environments they are in are not suitable..
Like, if you used one separately and and actually calibrated it to your own body, it would work fine..
I don't think Kinect is good or anything, I'm not going to buy it, but yes, it does work fine =D

Re: sooooooooooooo!
Why wouldn't you judge it on it's store test?

Stores don't calibrate it to a good setting like you can at your house...

His point is that if you try it at the store and don't like it, then you're probably not going to buy one, especially since it's $150.TheJubJub5721 wrote:Zillah wrote:Why wouldn't you judge it on it's store test?

Exactly. I'm talking about a person who's not seen a lot of information about it like us.
Just heard about it and stuff. He walks into the store, Kinect sucks ass, then he buys it for 150$? No.

Re: sooooooooooooo!
There isn't any technical problems with Kinect (AKA "LAAAGG).

I tried it the other day. It was inaccurate and laggy, but I did have fun with it regardless. To be fair, I tried Move the same day and had some accuracy issues (although I had less with Move).

Wasn't for me.
Never tried Move though.

Re: sooooooooooooo!
It could be due to a number of factors. I wasn't exactly trying it in a controlled environment.MEGAlan wrote:TRF wrote:I tried it the other day. I understand. It could be that I had very low expectations for the hardware after hearing and seeing some of the videos. I guess the fact that it picks up movement at all suprised me .

Yeah, me too, and to be honest, I had more fun with Kinect Sports than I did with Sports Champions.MEGAlan wrote:TRF wrote:It could be due to a number of factors.
