I just noticed something..

Why doesn't the XBLA support games that are over 2GB? Supposedly, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (HD Remake) is exclusive to PSN because it's 2.1GB. I'm not flaming or anything, I'm just curious.

Because a lot of people still use the 20GB HDD's or 16GB Flashdrives. If there was no size cap devs would get lazy with compression and start releasing 5GB arcade games which would kinda piss off a lot of people.

It is stupid. But it also is MS's gaming division...so understandable.

I think they lifted the size cap, or at least heightened it to give developers more freedom. That's just what I heard.

You COMPLETELY misundertsood the point of my other thread. I was saying that no one can argue that one platform has higher quality 1st party published games than the other, because their metascore averages are dead even.

Not exactly. XBL got 10 exclusives this year with great to decent reviews, while PSN only got 5. Overall, XBLA has 18 exclusives over PSN, and PSN has 11 exclusives over XBLA to be released. Only time will tell the outcome.

PSN and XBLA both have great games, but XBLA has a higher quantity of great games.

I remember saying some of the ratings converted were unfair. Any 1UP games that get a B+ from them are converted to an 83 on Metacritic. Last time I checked a B+ is 87-89. Besides, did I ever mention Metacritic in my first post? All I remember saying was "XBLA games blow away PSN games".

But they are also on disc. The US PS3 version is only on PSN while the other regions and the Xbox 360 version were on disc. Same with Battle Fantasia. Silly Aksys.
