this list definatly needs some castlevania on here, also maybe some punch-out!!! or batman or duck tales or chip and dale rescue rangers or teenage mutant ninja turtles 3 or contra.

so many classics on the nes. they could make a top 50 and still the list would be incomplete

Pretty good list. My favorite game on the NES is either Super Mario Bros. 3, Mega Man 2, or The Legend of Zelda. Nice to see they got all of my favorites covered.
