Live-Action "Mortal Kombat 9" Footage?

Some footage has surfaced that looks to be either a new film for "Mortal Kombat" or a live-action trailer for "Mortal Kombat 9".

Ever since Warner Bros. brought Midway back in 2009, they had the rights to turn their video game franchises into film. Including the new "Mortal Kombat" reboot. But Threshold Entertainment filed new breach of contract lawsuit to prevent it from moving forward. So we won't see a "Mortal Kombat" reboot for a while until the lawsuit is dropped.

So if it isn't a new film then it must be a new game perhaps? I mean is it a coincidence that this footage is released right when E3 is just around the corner? We will soon find out...
