It has a demo... Try downloading it, then decide for yourself.

But, if your too Zillah to try the demo, I'd have to suggest Just Cause 2.

I've heard the demos aren't the best representation of the game. Rent it maybe.

It's pretty fun. Although don't buy it expecting a good story or a good single player or you will be disappointed. You need to play it online with friends on either co-op or matchmaking.

And just so you know if you like achievements or co-op then it is like most other Capcom games. Insanely time consuming.

Master Chief should imagine himself lucky because Radec is dead.
Secondly, there is no way anyone would say "seemingly endless design and interface issues." about Killzone 2.
Thirdly, Killzone 2 > Halo 3, Radec > Master Chief.
