Big Game For PS3 (MLG)

Let me start with an intro.
For a few years now Major League Gaming has been strictly holding most of their Pro Circuits on the XBox360. These circuits include Gears of War 1&2, Halo 3,(1n2 if u count Xbox) Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Call of Duty 4. PS3 had the EA sports series last year but that was it. Thus it is assumed rather passionately that 360 players are better than PS3 players. But with the XboX version of mw2 being so easy to hack and the PS3 being Hack free they couldn't carry the pro circuit on 360 and had to hold it exclusively on PS3...

So their was a number of MW2 pros who got PS3's so they could play the circuit, most of them struggling. However a team called Dominance(dM) was running through the playoffs with little trouble. the team they played tonight was Next Threat(-TT-) a PS3 team since spring of '09. -TT-
-TT- didn't roll through the Playoffs like dM did and weren't really considered a top team. Either way this was broad casted live on http://live.mlgpro.com/. you can still see it there now as this was there first ever broadcast.
So the first game was on dM's host CTF at highrise which they took 2-1 with 2 clutch caps at the end. Next match was SnD at Terminal which dM hosted again, the host Nadeshot was getting IP flooded during this so dM easily won as he was the only one not lagging. Down 2-0 in a best of 5 series the host went to -TT- next on Demolition on Invasion. -TT- was dominate and got lucky as midway through the game Nadeshot was timed out making it 3v4. Still on -TT- host for scrapyard CTF which -TT- took b forfeit as they were up 6-0 at halftime to make dM quit, ince again Nadeshot timed out midway through. So it came down to a game 5 which was SnD at Invasion on dM's host, which Nadeshot was not hosting. Hosting was Young-Johnson (AKA FeaR Punisher) who if you follow competitive COD was the most decorated player on COD4. Search is usually fairly boring to watch as it's very slow, but with all the tension even watching someone laying down camping was intense.
By this time I switched out of full screen and saw nearly 2000 people were watching the stream, which is a lot of the COD community. -TT- came out and got the first kills in each of the first 3 rounds but could only capitalize twice taking a 2-1 lead. After dM went big in game 4 it was tied 2-2, -TT- then wins a very slow game 5 and take the lead 3-2 in search, 1 win away from defeating the best 360 team out there. -TT- got 3 people down and had a favorable 2v1 matchup as NadShot was the only one for dM left. He got a plant off and killed -TT- member xRyu but was taking a lot of fire from Vengeance and got killed, Vengeance went to defuse but was 1/1000 of a second off and th bomb blew up making the Search game 3-3 going to overtime to settle this EPIC game. -TT- member Impulse goes huge killing 3 of the 4 players in that round leading -TT- to the victory. :hooray: :hooray: :afraid: :hooray: :hooray:

Just thought I'd share and afterwards you had 1,000 360 dRiders making excuses all over the forums and it's just a good night. Anyway...
