I'm a big fan of both. Jak 3 and Up Your Arsenal are by favorites of each series. It's a hard decision to make because I feel that while R&C is the best shooter, J&D gives you a lot more variety in their games. But I think overall I like that fuzzy lombax just a little bit more.

Ratchet is "small, furry, and weak" yet he still manages to save the galaxy 4 times, and the universe once (correct me if i'm wrong).

I prefer R&C. The first Jak and Daxter was great, but the 2 and 3 lost their flare to me. I loved all the R&Cs except Deadlocked.

I picked R&C but I LOVE J&D and those games + sly cooper were the best on the ps2 hands down

Ratchet and Clank are my perfered favorites.
Fun gameplay.
Good storyline.
Easy to pick up and play.
And of course more loveable characters.

Wow, it's almost tied up.

I'm playing through Jak 3 right now. I'm stuck at this one part that's like F-Zero. You gotta navigate your pod thingy out of this tube without hitting anything. And it's really frustrating because you can't see where the track is supposed to be. I've already died like 20 times.

I couldn't get into Jak And Daxter for some reason. Although Ratchet And Clank was better for me and it was very easy to get into.

Ratchet and Clank is some EPIC shit
I almost completed Size Matters on the PSP a while back, which was addictive as hell, with some badass weapons
never tried the PS2 version though i'd imagine there inheriently superior
Jak and Dakter I have for the PS2, but haven't got that far on it

Actually, the PS2 version of Size Matters was very much inferior to the PSP version. There was serious balancing issues and the graphics looked like ass. I know, I have them both.
