So, it's freakin awesome. We can get past that part.
Meh

However, I feel like this game should have somewhat, LOW and not too powerful, killstreaks. Not COD style, more toned-down.
I hope the real online mode has more modes than available, if not, that too. It's been a freakin WHILE since I played KZ2.

I love Killzone 3. It feels balanced, and the weapon handling is fantastic (I like Call of Duty and Halo, but you never actually feel like you're holding a gun).

They aren't slow if that's what you mean. Your character still has a weighty feel, but the response time has been drastically improved.

Played a little bit, loved the sniping although I think it's a little overpowered as all I had to do was hit any part of the body and enemy was dead. I scoped down the stairs of the top spawn and got a 3 piece shooting people's feet off... I agree everything feels balanced perfectly even with the sniping power I think it's pretty hard to actually hit your target. The lack of aim assist really gets me into the game and broadens the skill gap; Nothing funnier then starting to reload your gun, moving from side to side, having someone waste a clip not touching you at all, finish reloading, pulling up and killing him. The graphics I don't think have been touched on enough as they look incredible...

BUT

The controls are improved but are far from fixed and that completely takes me out of the game. It feels like your carrying a battle Axe instead of a gun. I don't want to hear that it's realistic as it's completely unrealistic. Go handle a weapon and tell me you have trouble moving it from side to side. It's not a sensitivity issue, the gun takes alot more to get it going then once you get it going it speeds up...

I don't like that when you jump your gun is unable to shoot, I can understand not being able to aim but it's not hard to jump and keep a firearm steadily pointed at your target. I've never attempted to jump and shoot, but ya I've jumped with a gun in my hand... You could decrease the hip fire accuracy when you jump I don't care, but that's my #1 way of making people miss Sad

So I won't be buying this game and am taking my reserve off tomorrow because the controls take me completely out of games and even though I like playing the game. I loved Medal of Honor's Beta, I loved Battlefield's Beta but completely hated the games after about a week so I'm not going to be wasting my money again...

I haven't used the light machine guns so...

Anyway they had a patch when I got on and it feels like they smoothed out the controls to me...

Killzone 3 is pretty amazing I dont mind the "weighty" feel. It makes me feel like I actually have a gun in my characters hand. Their is still some laggyness to it but I hope that can be addressed. Cant wait paid off my helghast edition early last week.

its awesome. i cant tell that they changed the input lag and kz2 seemed fine to me. i agree with alan no kill steaks for the love of all the is good no kills steaks! also havent been able to connect anymore so i dont know whats going on.

The controls suck. I can jump from different types of shooters and don't have much of a problem. The first time I played the beta I was like what the hell. I haven't gone back since. Thanks Bulletstorm for not screwing up FPS controls. Maybe KZ should of stuck with the rest instead of being different.

Cause we're simple? Oh....my bad.

I don't think responsive controls would constitute making a game just like the rest... Does anyone mistake Halo for COD?

I was going to get this game cuz I really loved the beta but I didn't like that every time I played, no matter what I did it wouldn't affect the outcome of the game... I was 75-16 on my best game and we got 7-0ed... That was it for me...

No need to try to recreate the wheel. It's just my opinion, but I think the controls in KZ3 are horrible.

I bought KZ3 on launch day and, while I love the campaign, the online has been giving me a lot of connection errors. Probably due to the sheer volume of people trying to get on the servers. It's fun when it works, but it's not workin' a whole lot for me right now.

I'm buying "Killzone 3" in a few weeks. Maybe in 2 weeks if i'm lucky.
