I wouldn't be surprised if sale do increase. The PS2 didn't just sell because of its huge library of games but because it was easy to hack. The same with the Xbox 360 and the Wii.

Im glad Sony made it bannable, devs deserve money for their games. ALternatively if you dont think they deserve money for their games its simple DON'T BUY IT.

So what?
The modchip might accelerate PS3 sales but it will devastate software sales, and i agree with Reaper, the developers are the ones who deserve the money.
