ok then; here's a more vivid reply. the game has a battle system that can be dull at times, but up for it in boss fight, rpg elements, and with an eastern-style story and look to the game. i agree the game sucks when it comes to gameplay the same way GOW sucks. however, just like GOW, It is still a decent game, but a game that could've been much better.

I personally haven't played Muramasa, so I won't judge it. But from what I've seen, I think it could be amusing for a while, (maybe longer than GoWIII[?]). However, I find GoW has an intensity to it I doubt Muramasa could match. Both games could have been improved. GoW with multiplayer, and Muramasa with better graphics, and Wiiwards(Rewards for Wii).
The gameplays both seem to require a quick finger.

Muramasa could've at least had a co-op .
sure, it's fun when you beat it, but after that, it's horrible

Actually IGN said Muramasa is the best looking 2D game available to date. not to mention that Club Nintendo is nintendo's rewards system; problem is that it is only first party games. Muramasa (when fighting at least) has considerable intensity to it especially when fighting a boss since, unlike GoW, it requires very quick thinking. and the sword breaking gameplay feature makes you have to have a strategy when you fight unlike GoW.

Overall Muramasa is a better overall game than GoW mostly because Muramasa isn't just an action game where as GoW is all about the action, cinematic, and scale of the game. Just my opinion though.

I rented Muramasa...it was cool. But no way in the same league as God of War.
